Frequently asked questions
Is yoga right for me if I'm not flexible?
Yes. Flexibility is not a requirement for yoga — it's often a result of practice. We teach in ways that meet your body as it is right now. Your teacher will offer modifications so you can practice safely and discover your own edge, whatever that is today.
What should I bring to my first class?
Nothing but yourself. We provide mats, blocks, blankets and any props you need. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. You might bring water if you prefer your own bottle. Your first class is free, so there's no risk — just come and see what we're about.
How do I book my first free class?
Use the booking form on our website to choose a class, date and time that work for you. Your first session is completely free. Arrive a few minutes early so we can welcome you and answer any questions before we begin.
What's the difference between the four practices you offer?
Vinyasa Flow is breath-led and moving — it builds warmth and strength. Yin Yoga holds deep poses for several minutes to release tension and quiet the mind. Restorative is supported rest for your nervous system. Breathwork uses guided breathing to shift how you feel. Each offers something different — you might practice one or explore them all.
Can I drop in, or do I have to commit to a membership?
You can drop in. We offer single-class rates ($20–$28), packages of classes, and monthly memberships. Choose whatever feels right for your life. Your first class is free, and after that, you can attend as often as you'd like without being locked into anything.
What if I have an injury or physical limitation?
Tell your teacher before class begins. We teach modifications for every pose, and our teachers know how to work with injuries, pregnancy, chronic pain and other needs. Your safety and comfort come first — we'll help you practice in a way that honors your body.
Are your classes suitable for seniors?
Yes. Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga are especially popular with older practitioners because they build strength gently and offer profound rest. Vinyasa Flow and Breathwork are adaptable too. Your age doesn't matter — what matters is that you practice in a way that feels right for you.
