Restorative Yoga in Riverside

Deep rest through gentle, fully supported postures held in stillness.

A student resting deeply during a restorative class

Restorative Yoga is rest made intentional. You'll be held by props and the ground while your body unwinds completely. There's no effort, no alignment, no striving — only the chance to remember what it feels like to be supported. This practice is for anyone exhausted, overwhelmed, recovering or simply in need of profound rest.

What we offer

  • Fully supported poses held for 10–15 minutes each
  • Props arranged so you can release completely
  • Gentle guidance to settle your nervous system
  • Permission to rest without guilt
  • A safe space to let your body heal

How to book

Book your class through our form. Each session lasts 90 minutes, though you'll spend most of it still and supported. Arrive a few minutes early so we can set up your props. Bring or borrow a blanket if you tend to feel cool.

Price

Classes are $28 each. Monthly memberships and packages are available — let us know if you'd like to discuss pricing.

Questions

Is Restorative Yoga actually exercise?

It's different from cardiovascular or strengthening work, but restorative practice is exercise for your nervous system. You're training your body to rest, which is a skill many of us have lost.

Will I fall asleep?

You might, and that's okay. Rest and sleep are both welcome. Many people find their minds become very clear when their bodies finally relax.

Is it good for stress and anxiety?

Yes. When your body feels held and supported, your nervous system settles. This is where real recovery happens — it's why restorative practice is recommended for people managing stress, grief or burnout.
